Through my own journey of self-discovery with neurodivergence and cultural identity, I bring a holistic approach in shaping communication support, whether this be with prioritizing self advocacy in communication, learning to use an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device, or learning how to navigate unmasking your authentic communication style in a neurotypical world.
I work together with families and clients to support them in working towards what meaningful communication looks like for them, rather than shaping to fit a neurotypical mold.
Connecting with teens and youth is a particular area of specialization of mine where I don't hide behind a "professional" persona, inviting and sharing authenticity in whatever form it comes in.
I am deeply committed to using my own experiences with neurodivergence to empower others in their right to communication, however they may choose.
